Boondee Dejasilpabhakdi’s plan to put himself out of his misery was supposed to have been swift. Depression coupled with a drinking problem had left the 52-year-old former car mechanic a shell of his former self. His loved ones shunned him, leaving him to find solace in alcohol and thoughts of suicide, which he initially buried deep in his subconscious.
