It’s always flimsy hearsay until proven otherwise. Since charismatic chef Jess Barnes left Quince, I have heard mixed culinary comments about this two-year-old, bar-centric eatery. But my recent dinner visit there confirmed that Quince, which was packed with diners in sophisticated yet casual attire, was still going strong.
