Many awards and certificates of achievement are displayed in the house of Somboon Srisubat. Seventeen years ago, the skinny farmer suffered great distress and almost committed suicide due to huge debts. Today, he’s found a way to get back on his feet and now runs the successful Suan Lung Nin, or Uncle Nin’s Orchard, in Chumphon, about 450km south of Bangkok.
