Start of Lent in the Northeast
From July 30 to July 31, the Candle Light Procession Ceremony will take place around Phra That Phanom, a major stupa, at Wat Phra That Phanom in That Phanom district, Nakhon Phanom province, to commemorate two important Buddhist days — Asarnha Bucha Day and Buddhist Lent Day.
