Rough terrain
Khao Lampi – Hat Thai Muang National Park of Phangnga province is so named because it covers two separate areas, Thai Muang beach on the coastline and Lampi mountain further inland on the other side of Highway 4. Our destination today is the park’s western part, which is basically a huge sand dune that extends northward from near the town of Thai Muang to a hill called Khao Na Yak.
