Pilgrimage season is upon us
The pilgrimage season to Khao Khitchakut has started.From now until late March, Buddhist pilgrims climb the steep Khao Khitchakut in Chanthaburi province to pay homage to the Buddha’s Footprints, which is situated atop of the mountain. Though the climb is quite difficult, pilgrims trek up the holy site in droves every year.
