The Bangkok office market has seen little movement for the past six years, ever since the collapse of Lehman Brothers triggered a financial crisis in the United States that spread to markets far and wide. Political turmoil in Thailand, meanwhile, has caused many businesses to think twice before committing to new ventures and in turn curbed demand for office space.
