The cool season is approaching and for many Thais it’s time to plan a trip to one of those sea-of-fog sites. Of course, the most famous of such places are in the North and the Northeast where there are many big mountains. But the truth is you don’t need to travel all the way to Chiang Mai, Tak or Loei for such scenery.
