Over my 15-year career as a food journalist, I’ve eaten at restaurants of many culinary concepts and come across just as many dining stereotypes. One thing that’s confirmed over and over is that no matter how arrogantly or humbly a meal is marketed, at the end of the day taste bud-pleasure is the thing that matters most.
