A clean book
Crime fiction is replete with all manner of sleuths — cops, private eyes, doctors, lawyers — who have so much time on their hands that they use it to go after miscreants. Frankly, this reviewer prefers reading about pursuits than engaging in such pursuits. Matching wits with gangsters is one thing, matching violence quite another.
